Why could an event be rejected?
- A required envelope field is missing or has the wrong type.
- An event ID is invalid or repeated inside the batch.
- The actor ID does not match the selected actor type.
- The event version, timestamp, payload, or credential is not allowed.
- The payload contains a prohibited personal identifier.
Duplicate means the same event identity, not merely matching payload JSON. Matching payloads can represent two real occurrences.
